KRAVCHENKO
Anna Borisovna

Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor,
Head of the Department of Biological Chemistry.

Born on December 29, 1966 in Kharkiv to a family of civil servants. In 1983, she graduated from Kharkiv Secondary School # 3 with an in-depth study of English. In the same year, she entered the Kharkiv Pet Veterinary Institute, graduating with honors in 1988. In 1991, she started working at the Kharkov Pharmaceutical Institute as a senior laboratory assistant, which she combined with the position of assistant. Since 2002 – Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, and from 2003 to the present – Assistant Professor of the Department of Biochemistry. From 2006 to the present he has been acting Head of Department. In 2010, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty “Biochemistry” on the topic “Effect of plant-derived antioxidants on the metabolism of nitrogen-containing compounds under conditions of neurogenic stress in rats”. He holds a diploma of the state standard, which gives the right to teach English in special subjects. He lectures and conducts laboratory, seminar and practical classes in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Takes part in arrying out laboratory classes in a practical-oriented course “Clinical Biochemistry” for foreign students 4-5 courses on a self-supporting basis. GB Kravchenko is a co-author of the textbooks Clinical Biochemistry (2005), Biomolecules – harmaceuticals (2008), Journal for laboratory works on biochemistry (2009), Functional Biochemistry (2009), Biological Chemistry (2011) , Laboratory Manual on Biochemistry (2012), and others. He is constantly involved in the creation of work training programs in biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, functional biochemistry and biochemistry of pathological conditions for various specialties. He is a co-author of the typical curriculum courses: Biological Chemistry and Clinical Biochemistry for the specialty Clinical Pharmacy, General Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for the Pharmaceutical Technology specialty, and elective courses in Functional Biochemistry and Environmental Chemistry . Anna is constantly improving her professional level. In 1996 she completed the advanced training courses “Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher Education”, in 2012 – advanced training courses “Higher Education and the Bologna Process”. GB Kravchenko’s research was devoted to the study of hypoglycemic and antithyroid activity of synthetic compounds. Currently, the priority scientific area of ​​her research is the study of biochemical mechanisms of development of proatherogenic conditions and free radical pathologies. GB Kravchenko is a co-author of more than 70 scientific publications, four patents and two monographs “Perspectives of the use of natural antioxidants in the prevention of atherosclerosis” (2010), “Biologically active substances of grapes and health” (2012). In recent years, she has participated in a number of international conferences. Anna is a member of the International Scientific Organizations of the European Diabetes Study Association (EASD) and the International Biochemical Society (FEBS).

ZAGAYKO
Andrey Leonidovich

Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor.

Andrey Zagayko was born on April 23, 1974 in Kharkiv to a family of civil servants. In 1991, after graduating from Kharkiv Secondary School # 1, he entered Kharkiv State University, graduating in 1996 and receiving a diploma with honors in the specialty “Biochemistry”. In 2000, after studying in postgraduate study under the direction of Doctor of science, prof. PA Kaliman defended his dissertation on the topic “Lipid transport system in oxidative stress in rats”, and from 2000 to 2002 worked as a junior researcher and assistant at the department of biological chemistry at KhNU. VN Karazin. He has been working at NFaU: from 2002 to 2009 as an associate professor, from 2009 to 2010 as professor of the department, and from 2010 to 2018 he headed the department of biological chemistry. In 2009 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Disorders of lipid metabolism and prooxidant-antioxidant system under conditions of experimental metabolic syndrome”. In 2011 he was awarded the title of Professor of the Department of Biological Chemistry. Andriy Leonidovich holds a diploma of state standard, which gives the right to teach subjects in English. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes in biological chemistry, clinical biochemistry, functional biochemistry and general biochemistry and molecular biology in Ukrainian, Russian and English.Under the guidance of the head of department, prof. AL Zagayko continues to organize and teach a practical-oriented course “Clinical Biochemistry” for foreign students 4-5 courses on a self-supporting basis. Andriy Leonidovich also conducts laboratory classes in this discipline.A.L Zagayko is the author of the monographs “Metabolic Syndrome: Mechanisms of Development and Prospects for Antioxidant Therapy” (2007), “Prospects for the Use of Natural Antioxidants in Atherosclerosis Prevention” (2010), “Biologically Active Substances of Grapes of Culture” (2012) .); manuals “Chemical interactions in wildlife” (2000), and co-author of educational and methodical works: “Clinical biochemistry” (2003), “Laboratory and seminar classes in biological chemistry” (2004), “Fundamentals of biochemical Engineering (2004), “Biomolecules – Pharmaceuticals” (2008), “Functional Biochemistry” (2010), “Biological Chemistry” (2011).Andrei Leonidovich’s research work is based on studies of biochemical mechanisms of the development of proatherogenic conditions and free radical pathologies, as well as the use of compounds with antioxidant activity for their correction. AL Zagayko is the author and co-author of more than 150 scientific papers, including: four patents, one fact sheet, 80 scientific articles, 23 articles in the Pharmaceutical Encyclopedia, 50 abstracts, nine textbooks (one of which is in English). In 2010 he became a member of the Scientific Council of NFaU and in the same year began to perform the duties of the deputy editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian Biopharmaceutical Journal, and since 2011 he has been a member of the Specialized Scientific Council of NFaU in the specialty “Pharmacology”. In 2012 he became a member of the editorial board of the European journal “Adipobiology”. AL Zagayko – Member of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) since 2000, Member of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and Atherosclerosis (EAS), American Diabetes Association (ADA) since 2005 – Member of the European Council of Pharmacological Societies (EUFEPS) and since 2012 a member of the Presidium of the European Society of Adipobiology and Adipopharmacology (EUAA).The scientific and pedagogical activity of AL Zagayko was honored with the diploma of Kharkiv regional state administration, thanks and certificates of honor of NFaU. He received EASD grants in 2002, 2004, 2006.

Vera Nikolaevna

KRASILNIKOVA
Oksana Anatolyevna

Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor.

She was born on July 18, 1971 in Kharkiv to a family of civil servants. In 1993 she graduated from Kharkiv National University. VN Karazin. In 2003, she defended her PhD thesis for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences on the topic “Role of thyroid hormones in the regulation of phosphoinositide metabolism in the liver of rats of all ages”. From 2005 to 2008, she was an assistant professor at NFUU and since 2008 till now she has been an assistant professor of the department. Since 2011 OA Krasilnikov is responsible for the work of the CST and since 2012 for the methodical work. OA Krasilnikov has a diploma that allows you to teach disciplines in English.He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on biochemistry, biochemistry of pathological processes, functional biochemistry in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Takes part in carrying out laboratory classes in a practical-oriented course “Clinical Biochemistry” for foreign students 4-5 courses on a self-supporting basis. Igor Valerievich

Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor.

He was born on October 25, 1971 in Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region, in a family of civil servants. In 1993 he graduated from the Kharkov Pharmaceutical Academy with a degree in Pharmacy and received his qualification as a pharmacist. From 1992 to 1993 he worked as a junior laboratory assistant, and from 1993 to 1994 – a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Biochemistry. From 1994 to 2001 he worked as an assistant, and from 2001 to the present time – assistant professor of the department. In 1997 he defended his thesis on the topic “Pharmacological properties of extracts of beet ordinary” (Russia), and in 2008 passed its nostrification. From 2002 to the present he has been acting Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Foreign Citizens Training. since 2005 – Deputy Secretary of the Admission Committee for Recruitment of Foreign Nationals. The department is responsible for career guidance. IV Senyuk lectures and conducts laboratory classes on biological chemistry in Ukrainian and Russian. Lubov Valerievna

Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Born on January 23, 1978 in Poltava to a family of servicemen. In 2000 she graduated from Kharkiv State Pedagogical University. GS Skovoroda. He works in NFaU: from 2000 to 2004 – Senior Laboratory Assistant, from 2004 to 2012 – Assistant Professor, from 2012 to the present – Assistant Professor of the Department of Biological Chemistry. In 2008, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Experimental study of anti-inflammatory activity of polyphenolic extract from aboveground part of Horned Lady”.From 2009 to the present time, she is the acting secretary of the department. LV Galuzinskaya holds a diploma which gives the right to teach in English. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on biological chemistry in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Participated in the creation of curricula, guidelines and control tasks in biological chemistry, writing new biochemistry test tasks for the licensing exam “KROK-1”. Its research work includes the study of pharmacological properties of compounds of natural and synthetic origin. Lyubov is the author and co-author of more than 30 scientific papers, including three patents. Since 2012, LV Galuzinskaya is acting as the responsible secretary of the Ukrainian Biopharmaceutical Journal.

 

FILIMONENKO
Victoria Pavlovna

Candidate of Biological Sciences.

She was born on May 28, 1979 in the village of Staryi Merchyk in the Volkovsky district of Kharkiv region in a family of civil servants. In 2001 she graduated from Kharkiv National University. VN Karazina, where she worked as a graduate student from 2001 to 2009 and from 2006 to 2011 – a junior researcher at the Department of Biochemistry. In 2010, she defended her PhD thesis on the regulation of heme oxygenase activity by heme in the heart, blood vessels and lungs of rats with the introduction of a substrate and an inhibitor of NO synthases. From 2011 to the present he works as an assistant at the Department of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The department is responsible for the preparation of biochemistry tests for the Step-1 exam, including on-line testing server. Responsible for the initial process of part-time (distance) students. VP Filimonenko has a certificate which gives the right to teach subjects in English. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on biological chemistry in Ukrainian and Russian. Victoria Pavlivna’s research work is carried out in the study of the protective properties of natural compounds (grape polyphenols) under stress and pathologies. Continuing to improve her professional level in 2013, she completed the advanced training courses “Modern Learning Technologies” at the Institute of Advanced Training of NFaU Pharmacy Specialists. VP Filimonenko is a co-author of more than 50 scientific papers, of which 17 are articles in leading scientific journals.

BRIUKHANOVA
Tetiana Olexandrivna

Candidate of biological sciences.

Born May 04, 1990. In 2012 she graduated with honors from the National University of Pharmacy, majoring in Clinical Pharmacy. In 2016, after postgraduate studies, she defended her dissertation on the topic “Biochemical changes in the body of animals for the use of pathogenetic therapy for metabolic syndrome” for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty 14.01.32 “Medical Biochemistry” (Scientific supervisor A. L.). Since September 2016 he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Biological Chemistry of NFaU. Tatiana Alexandrovna’s research work is based on the study of biochemical mechanisms of metabolic syndrome development, type 2 diabetes and other pathologies associated with insulin resistance and finding ways of their pharmacological correction. T.А. Bryukhanova is a co-author of more than 60 scientific articles, 50 abstracts, 3 patents, 2 fact sheets, and 2 sections of collective monographs (“Sex and age differences in lipoprotein metabolism proatherogenic changes under the experimental metabolic syndrome in hamsters” and “Prospects for Using the Natural Antioxidant” Compounds in the Obesity Treatment »). Responsible for the scientific work of the department. Tatyana is a full member of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS). He teaches Biological Chemistry and Biochemistry of Pathological Processes.

Oksana Vladimirovna

Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Born on October 30, 1991 in Kharkiv. In 2008, she joined the National University of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy. In 2013, she graduated with honors from the University in the specialty “Pharmacy”, the same year she entered the magistracy (department of pharmacy drug technology). In 2014, she completed her internship and received a Master’s degree in pharmacy with a major in General Profile Provider. In 2015 she entered the postgraduate course (specialty 15.00.02 – pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy) and completed it in 2018. Since 2018 he has been working at the Department of Biological Chemistry of the National University of Pharmacy – assistant. Secretary of the department.
