In 1981 she graduated from Kharkiv State University, Faculty of Biology. Since 1981 he has been an assistant professor at the HFI Physiology Department, and since 1986 he has been an associate professor. In 1987 she defended her dissertation on the topic: “Hypoglycemic activity and some aspects of the action on the body of the plant complex from the grass of the common bean” in the specialty “pharmacology”. In 1994 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Pharmacological aspects of pathogenetically sound chemotherapy of diabetes mellitus with the use of phytopreparations based on extracts of bean grass” in the specialty “pharmacology”. On October 18, 2001 she was awarded the title of professor. From 1995 to the present he heads the Department of Physiology and Anatomy of NUPh. Professor Maloshtan LM is a part of Special council D 64.60503. Since 2014 he has been the chairman of the approbation council on pharmacology. Maloshtan LM is a member of the Academic Council of NUPh, the Joint Council of Faculties of NUPh, the Central Methodical Commission of NUPh. Editor-in-Chief of Biopharmaceutical Journal. Deputy chairman of the commission on bioethics. She was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Diplomas of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration (1996, 2001, 2002), Diploma of the participant of the regional competition “Higher School of Kharkiv – Best Names”. Maloshtan LM – Honored Professor of NUPh. Under the leadership of prof. Maloshtan LM 2 doctoral and 16 candidate dissertations were defended. Currently, 1 doctoral dissertation is being completed. Professor Maloshtan LM is a co-author of more than 35 copyright certificates and patents, 270 scientific papers. In 2002, a problem laboratory of morphofunctional research was established on the basis of the department. The laboratory, headed by Professor Maloshtan LM, is accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (certificate № 2 H1422 in accordance with DSTU ISO / IEC 17025: 2006 (ISO / IEC 17025: 2005) valid until September 6, 2022) for the right to conduct toxicological testing of perfumes and cosmetics, dietary supplements, medicines, aromatherapy items and household chemicals.
