Dubinina Natalia Vladyslavivna

 Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Microbiology and Biological Chemistry.

She graduated from Yakutsk State University in 1989 with a degree in Biology: teacher of biology and chemistry. From 1988 to 1991, she worked at schools in Yakutsk and Kharkiv. From 1991 to 2004 she worked at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Since 2004, she has been an assistant, and from 2014 to 2024, an associate professor at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the NPhU. Since 2024 – Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics, Microbiology and Biological Chemistry.

Educational and methodical work. She lectures, conducts practical and seminar classes on educational components: “Microbiology with the basics of immunology”, “Microbiology with the basics of epidemiology”, “Microbiology, virology and immunology with microbiological diagnostics”, “Epidemiology”.

Research work. In 2004, she defended her PhD thesis on “Antimicrobial properties of glucogenic amino acids and their synergism with antibiotics” (scientific adviser – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor I. L. Dykyi).

Research interests: medical microbiology, virology, antibiotic resistance, study of microbial contamination of various dosage forms and pharmaceuticals.

He is the author of more than 160 scientific papers, including 7 monographs, 2 textbooks, 22 manuals, 1 patent of Ukraine.

Scientific School: 9 master’s students in the specialty “Technologies of medical diagnostics and treatment” were trained, more than 30 school students defended their research papers at the Junior Academy of Sciences (2008-2024). The winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers was prepared (2024).

Awards. Diplomas of NUPh for conscientious work, high professionalism (2017, 2020), gratitude from the Rector of NUPh for many years of active consulting of student research papers of the Small Academy of Sciences (2024).

Public activity:

  • She is responsible for methodological work at the department.
  • Lecturer of the circle of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NUPh), section “Pharmacy”.
  • Member of the jury for the defense of works of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Saltovsky district, Kharkiv.
  • Tutor in the preparation of schoolchildren of the Kharkiv region for the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Biology.
  • Member of the S.M. Vinogradsky Society of Microbiologists of Ukraine.

For many years, she was responsible for career guidance at the department and the head of the SSS circle of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology.
