Olena Anatoliivna

Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor of Higher Education

In 1996, she graduated from the National Pharmaceutical Academy with a degree in Pharmacy. From 1996 to 1999 studied at a postgraduate course by specialty in “Pharmacology”. From 2000 to 2007 worked as an assistant at the department of human physiology. From 2007 to 2013, she worked as an associate professor at the department of biology, physiology, and human anatomy, from 2013 to 2020 as an associate professor at the department of physiology and human anatomy, from 2020 to 2021 as an associate professor at the department of normal and pathological physiology, since 2021 to the present – associate professor of the department of biological chemistry.

In 2001, she defended her candidate’s thesis on the topic: “Investigation of the mechanisms of action of Riflan – a potential agent for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases” (specialty 14.00.25 – pharmacology, clinical pharmacology), in 2009 she passed re-certification in the Specialized Council in the specialty 14.03.05 – pharmacology.

At the Department of Biological Chemistry gives lectures and conducts laboratory/practical/seminar classes in such disciplines as: “Biological chemistry”, “Biochemistry”, “General biochemistry and fundamentals of molecular biology” and “Functional biochemistry”. Olena Anatoliivna constantly raises her professional level. In 2020, she completed a foreign internship at Lublin Medical University (Poland). In 2021, she completed the “Theory and Practice of Distance Learning” and “School of Tutor of Distance Courses of the NUPH” advanced training courses.

He is the author and co-author of 160 scientific and scientific-methodological works, including 35 scientific articles, 68 theses, 3 patents, 1 information sheet, 56 methodical recommendations, 3 lecture notes and 3 training manuals.

Member of professional and public associations: Ukrainian Biochemical Society, which is part of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), “All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of pharmacologist of ukraine” and International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology “IUPHAR”, Scientific organization “Center of Ukrainian-European Scientific Cooperation”.

At the department, she performs the duties of the person responsible for educational work.
