On December 1, 2022, Associate Professor of the higher educational institution Oksana Tkachenko was awarded a certificate of completion of the international postgraduate internship “Educational and scientific activity in a modern university: challenges, solutions, prospects”, which took place from October 7 to November 25, 2022 at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Bialystok (Republic of Poland).
The purpose of the internship was to deepen the knowledge and develop the competencies of the scientific and didactic staff of Ukrainian universities in terms of challenges, solutions and prospects in teaching and research activities in a modern university. The participants of the internship, using references to the literature on the topic, analysis of examples, as well as practical tasks:
a) improve their competencies in applying various methods and forms of working with students (teaching creative thinking, tutoring, interactive online tools) and improve their research skills (writing scientific articles, the art of public speaking);
b) assess the potential benefits and challenges of applying these methods and forms in their educational institutions;
c) develop concrete solutions for the implementation of new practices in different areas of their own scientific and pedagogical activities.
