On November 17, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Biological Chemistry and Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Yevheniia Vashchyk and higher education students took part in an open lecture from Sumy NAU on the topic: “Diagnosis of animal salmonellosis”

Associate Professor of the Department of Biological Chemistry and Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Yevheniia Vashchyk and students of the group 211VMm20 (5.10d) HB on 17.11.2023 took part and received relevant theoretical and practical information at an open lecture from Sumy NAU on the topic: “Diagnosis of animal salmonellosis”, lecturer Anna Levchenko, Anna Levchenko (Atatürk University, Turkey), Ph, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Atatürk University, Turkey. At the lecture, the participants learned about the special characteristics of the morphological, cultural, tinctorial properties of Salmonella spp, diagnostics, as well as epizootological and epidemiological aspects of animal salmonellosis in Ukraine, Turkey and the world. We joined the practical component online – Anna Levchenko demonstrated the technique of bacteriological cultures, culture media and devices used for laboratory diagnosis of animal salmonellosis in the training laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ataturk University, Turkey.
