On November 23 and 25, 2022, career guidance activities of the department were held. The staff of the Department gave lectures on the topics “Genetic Engineering” (lecturer: Assistant of the Department, Deputy Director for Research Dmytro LITKIN) and “Vitamins for Humans” (lecturer: Associate Professor of the Department Victoria FILIMONENKO) for students of the gymnasium №2 of Vinnytsia City Council. The Department thanks the Deputy Director for Educational Work of the gymnasium Svitlana SAPON and the students of the gymnasium for their interest in the educational components of the Department of Biological Chemistry.
On December 20, 2021 Associate Professor Filimonenko VP as part of career guidance work visited Kharkiv Gymnasium №82 and gave a lecture to 8th-grade students on “Proteins, fats and carbohydrates as the main components of nutrition”.
On November 25, 2021, the assistant of the department Oksana Tkachenko with students visited the exhibition “Education of Kharkiv region and study abroad”. The NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACEUTICALS was presented at the exhibition among educational institutions of Kharkiv region.
On September 16, 2021 at the Department of Biological Chemistry there was a meeting with the graduate of NUPh Bashar Jabar Ali Al-Sahlani, a graduate student of the department, who successfully defended his dissertation and received a Ph.D. farm. Science. He spoke to a group of international students. The conversation concerned the prospects of postgraduate studies at NUPh after graduation and the practical application of the diploma of Cand. farm. sciences in the native country.
On April 20, 2021, the head of the Department of Biological Chemistry, Professor Vera KRAVCHENKO presented all the opportunities and conditions for admission to the National University of Pharmacy to students of Pervomaisky Medical College (Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region). The online meeting presented in detail all the specialties and educational programs for which the 2021 introductory campaign will be conducted. Applicants for college education were informed in an accessible form with the new conditions of admission to NUPh. After her speech, Vira Kravchenko answered the questions of students.
On March 31, 2021, within the framework of the career guidance project “PHARM CAMP NUPh – 2021”, an online lecture on “Genetic Engineering” was given. The lecture was presented by the head of the department, Professor Vira KRAVCHENKO. The lecture was attended by students of the gymnasium № 6 them. Shevchenko TG (Myrhorod) and gymnasium № 116 (Kharkiv). It should be noted that the wishes of the lecturers were aimed at entering the specialty 162 “Biotechnology and Bioengineering”.
On January 5, 2021, as part of the career guidance event PHARM CAMP, which was organized by the NUPh Admissions Committee, Associate Professor of Biochemistry Anna Kravchenko gave a lecture on “Carbohydrates, proteins and lipids – as the main components of nutrition.”
On January 4, 2021, an event on career guidance work of the department took place. Assistant Tatiana Bryukhanova in the framework of Pharmcamp gave a lecture on “Vitamins for humans” to students subordinate to the department of educational institutions.
On December 8, 2020, an event on career guidance work of the department took place. Assoc. Anna Kravchenko gave a lecture on “Carbohydrates, proteins and lipids – as the main components of nutrition” to students of the 2nd year of Dubna Professional Medical College of Rivne Regional Council, who study in the specialty “Medical Affairs”. Organizers of the event: the Department of Biological Chemistry and the Department of Foreign Languages of NUPh.
On November 24, 2020, an event on career guidance work of the department took place. Assoc. Oksana Krasylnikova gave a lecture on “Carbohydrates, proteins and lipids – as the main components of nutrition” for students of 10th grade of Kharkiv secondary school N 165. Organizers of the event: Department of Biological Chemistry and the Department of Foreign Languages NUPh.
On September 30, 2020 Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry Galuzinskaya LV visited Kharkiv comprehensive school of I-III degrees № 168, Kharkiv scientific lyceum boarding school “Giftedness” and Kharkiv comprehensive school of I-III degrees № 77 for the purpose of concluding agreements on creative cooperation.
On September 25, 2020 Assistant of the Department of Biological Chemistry Shovkova OV visited Kharkiv secondary school of I-III grades № 168 and Kharkiv secondary school of I-III grades № 77 in order to attract students to Pharmhub (preparation for external evaluation).
On September 23, 2020 Assistant of the Department of Biological Chemistry Shovkova OV visited the Kharkiv boarding school “Giftedness”.
On February 11, 2020 the head of the department Assoc. prof. Kravchenko Ganna visited the Konstantinovsky Medical College with career guidance work.
February 13, 2019 Assoc. prof. of the Department of Biological Chemistry Krasilnikova O.A. held training (lectures and workshops) for students of 8-11 grades to prepare them to the National Olympiad in biology.
Lecture on the topic: “Functional biochemistry of nutrition”. Students of the Kharkiv educational center “Gravity” were provided with useful and practical information about the basics of nutrition.

Excursion in the vivarium of the central research laboratory of the National University of Pharmacy. Students of the Kharkiv educational center “Gravity” got acquainted with the general provisions of the Central scientific laboratory and the stages of experimental research.
