On May 13-14, 2021, the II educational online seminar dedicated to the anniversary of the discovery of the DNA molecule “BIRTH, DEVELOPMENT AND FORMATION OF THE SCIENCE OF DNA” took place. Organizers of the seminar: the Faculty of Foreign Citizens and the Department of Biological Chemistry. The seminar was opened by the First Vice-Rector of NUPh, Professor Andriy FEDOSOV (Chairman), Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Citizens Training, Associate Professor Svitlana KALAYCHEVA (Co-Chair) and Head of the Department of Biological Chemistry, Professor Vira KRAVCHENKO (Co-Chair). The main theses from the organizers of the event were focused on the next involvement of the educational community of NUPh in the celebration of the International DNA Day, thus supporting the world traditions of scientific values.
The seminar was attended by 19 foreign applicants for higher education 1-3 courses and students of pre-university education programs, who presented their interesting works on the subject of the event.
Following the seminar, a collection of materials was published, as well as certificates were provided to participants and their leaders.
