In 2001 she graduated from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University where she worked as a postgraduate student from 2001 to 2009 and as a junior researcher at the Department of Biochemistry from 2006 to 2011. In 2010 she defended her PhD thesis on the theme “Regulation of heme oxygenase activity by heme in the heart, blood vessels and lungs of rats upon administration of a substrate and an NO-synthase inhibitor.” From 2011 to 2014 she worked as an assistant, and from 2014 to the present, she is an associate professor at the Department of Biological Chemistry of the National University of Pharmacy.

 At the department she is responsible for the preparation of biochemistry tests for the “KROK-1” exam, including on the online testing server. Responsible for the educational process of correspondence (distance) students. Participates in the creation and updating of educational and work programs of the department’s disciplines, calendar and thematic plans for various specialties. In 2014-2017 she performed the duties of head teacher of the department. Awarded an honorary certificate of the National Institute of Pharmacy on the occasion of the day of the pharmaceutical worker, 2015. Participates in the creation and updating of distance learning courses.

 V. P. Fylymonenko has a certificate that entitles her to teach subjects in English. She gives lectures and conducts practical, seminar and laboratory classes in Ukrainian, Russian and English in the disciplines “Biological Chemistry”, “Functional Biochemistry”, “Clinical Biochemistry”, “Biochemistry of Pathological Processes”.

 Viktoriia Pavlivna’s research work is conducted in studies of the protective properties of natural and synthetic compounds under conditions of stress and pathologies.

 Constantly raises his professional level:

 Constantly participates in the work of scientific congresses, conferences, seminars, webinars, etc. She is a member of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society, which is part of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS).
