On March 07, 2024, the I International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “MODERN ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN EXPERIMENTAL, CLINICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY” was held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Department of Biochemistry.

The conference started with a welcoming speech from the chairman of the conference, rector of the National University of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Alla KOTVITSKA, co-chairs of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor Inna VLADYMYROVA, Head of the Department of Biological and Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Vira KRAVCHENKO, Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Theoretical Medicine in Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences, Associate Professor of Tbilisi Open University, Nodar SULASHVILI (Georgia), Doctor of Science, Leading Researcher at the Bioanalysis Laboratory of the Institute of Biochemistry, Vilnius University, Julia RAZUMIENE (Republic of Lithuania). Foreign guests joined the congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary: BURHANI SIMAI (United Republic of Tanzania), Executive Director of the Food and Drugs Agency of Zanzibar Prefecture, graduate of the National University of Pharmacy.  Chairman of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, graduate and postgraduate student of the National University of Pharmacy BASHAR JABBAR ALI AL-SAHLANI (Republic of Iraq) and The conference was attended by representatives of 9 foreign countries: Georgia, The Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Iraq, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Czech Republic. More than 50 scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine joined the event. The total number of participants amounted to 260 specialists.
